Katie Steele

Katie Steele is Assistant Director for Penn’s Program on Opinion Research and Election Studies and an Exit Poll Analyst for the NBC News Decision Desk. She oversees the PORES student fellowship program and advises the Survey Research and Data Analytics minor. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021 with a B.S. in Economics. As an undergraduate, Katie worked as a PORES Student Research Fellow, where she conducted election administration research under Dr. Marc Meredith and worked on the exit poll desk at NBC News during the 2020 election cycle.
