Saleel Huprikar

Saleel Huprikar is a rising sophomore from Deerfield, IL who plans to study economics and statistics. He is thrilled to be in the PORES program, for it combines his interests in political science and statistics. This summer, Saleel is working with Professor Daniel Hopkins on research related to the Affordable Care Act, perceived discrimination against demographic groups, and voting trends in past election cycles. Outside of PORES, Saleel enjoys following sports and domestic/international affairs, playing piano, reading, and learning languages.
